Yes to Racial Equality Award
It is the world's largest award focused on ethnic-racial themes broadcast on public TV. This annual event, held since 2018, has already brought together thousands of people.
Developed by the Instituto Identidade do Brasil (ID_BR), the Sim à Igualdade Racial Award recognizes and honors individuals, initiatives, companies, and organizations that work towards racial equality in the country. Additionally, it is a way to raise funds to support the Institute's activities.

At Rock in Rio 2022, we carried out activations to raise awareness among the festival audience about the importance of promoting racial equality for Black and Indigenous people, focusing on the music scene. At the Identidades Space, we presented talks on racial issues and the presence of Black and Indigenous people in music. Additionally, our guitar struck a chord with many hearts under the 'Yes to Racial Equality' seal.

On Black Awareness Day, November 20, 2015, the first 'Yes to Racial Equality' run took place, celebrating the launch of the campaign of the same name in Rio de Janeiro. Over 120 people participated in this free event. The 5 km run was a significant intervention through Rio's historical route. The event started at the Arcos da Lapa and finished at the Valongo Wharf, a site that was the entry point for thousands of enslaved people in Brazil during the 19th century.
